644 Cracker Barrels Later, Couple Returns to Nashville, Where Their Quest Began

Listen An 80-year-old Indiana couple is getting some welcome attention as they finish a quest to eat at every Cracker Barrel in the nation. The Lebanon-based restaurant chain has 645 restaurants in 44 states. Ray and Wilma Yoder have been to all but one.

Cracker Barrel Menu Prices to Increase This Year

Cracker Barrel is just one of several national chains to announce price increases. You can also expect to pay more at Chipotle and Olive Garden. The reason: last year’s drought means commodities are more expensive. The cost of beef is expected to go way up, as much as 10 percent.

Cracker Barrel Stays Mum on Shareholder Fight

San Antonio investor Sardar Biglari says Cracker Barrel’s management isn’t doing enough to increase profits and drive more customers into its restaurants. Biglari has announced plans to nominate himself and an associate to Cracker Barrell’s board during the company’s annual meeting in November.
