In the final weeks of the Republican primary, Bill Hagerty and Manny Sethi campaigned across the state, holding events that ignored the local mask mandates in place. However, local leaders in charge of the rules say they won’t do it all the time, showing a hesitancy from mayors to enforce the law at campaign events.
