State advances ‘pipeline bill’ that would expedite new fossil fuel infrastructure
A Tennessee legislative committee approved a bill Tuesday that preempts local governments from stopping — or really even changing — fossil fuel projects that would impact their environment and communities.
Last year, Memphis blocked the construction of a major pipeline. Tennessee lawmakers don’t want that to happen again.

Pipeline Public Hearing
The public gets its chance tonight to comment on a proposed gas pipeline. It would run through Southeastern Davidson County, including a portion of Radnor Lake State Park.
