The Tennessee Secretary of State’s office is trying to convince registered voters who are immigrants to show proof of their residency. A letter went out to more than 14,000 voters letting them know that voting illegally is a crime.

Former President Donald Trump will remain on Tennessee ballot despite questions of eligibility over felony convictions

Tennessee’s Attorney General hasn’t responded to a question of whether former President Donald Trump should be removed from the ballot. But the Secretary of State’s communication director has issued a statement, saying that Trump is eligible to run for president.

Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett has accepted a plea deal to a drunk driving charge. The “best interest” plea allows the defendant to accept a guilty verdict without admitting guilt at a trial.
