Nashville lawsuit joins others seeking compensation for babies harmed by opioids

A lawsuit filed in Davidson County Chancery Court seeks compensation on behalf of six babies born to mothers addicted to opioids. It’s the latest in a string of similar suits across the state, including one that has resulted in a settlement.

Nashville monkeypox cases jump by 11, but health officials are encouraged by relatively slow spread

Nashville health officials are reporting 11 new cases of monkeypox in the last week, which is the largest weekly increase so far. However, they say they’re pleased at the relatively slow spread with a total of 28 cases to date.

Robertson Co. built a free clinic for all government employees, but here’s why it’s mostly for bus drivers
