Beyoncé will be with us shortly. The Queen Bey herself will be performing at Nissan Stadium tomorrow night — and there are, shockingly, some tickets left, starting at $128 (before all those lovely Ticketmaster fees).
But for fans who don’t need to be up close to celebrate the Renaissance World Tour’s Nashville stop, there are some options:
- As a casual Taylor Swift appreciator, the sticker shock after looking up Eras Tour tickets had me making plans with friends to watch from the pedestrian bridge instead. No, it was not the same as the thousand-dollar seats, but I had so much fun singing along to her biggest hits with hundreds of fans on the bridge and seeing at least a light show (and like a quarter of one screen). I imagine there will be a similar setup for Beyoncé — though there is similarly rain in the forecast too. So be sure to bring a poncho.
- There’s a Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Drag Brunch at Electric Jane in the Gulch ahead of the concert, with shows at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets are $18.
- If you’re avoiding the stadium (or bridge), tomorrow night, there is also a Beyoncé Silent Disco at City Tap House’s rooftop in downtown. If you’ve never been to one, over-the-ear headphones are provided, playing the DJ’s set directly into your ears as you dance, but if you were to take them off, the room would practically be crickets. Tickets are $5.
And if you’re considering where to eat, I’m personally leaning Texas barbecue this weekend in honor of the proud Houston native herself. There’s Tex’s World Famous Bar-B-Q in South Nashville (which has been around since 1979) and Bringle’s Smoking Oasis (a newer contender in Texas-style from the same pitmaster who brought the city Peg Leg Porker) in The Nations.
