If you have an idea to improve the city of Nashville, now’s the chance to voice it. Tomorrow is the last day that Nashville’s Agenda will be accepting comments.
First put together in 1993, Nashville’s Agenda brought ideas together about how to improve the city. It led to the creation of the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.
This time around, Chairman Tom Sherrard says the ideas revolve around five subject areas including immigration, transportation and public safety.
“For example in the economic development area, we talked about building a thoroughfare that connects North Nashville and Fisk, Meharry and TSU with the West End area. We’ve talked about putting a historical museum downtown.”
The last community meeting is tomorrow at the First Baptist Church on seventh avenue south. A survey is also available at nashvillesagenda.org.
The compiled report should be finished by the 15th of June.
