Piedmont Natural Gas says it will add a second filling station for vehicles in Middle Tennessee.  Piedmont already has one in Nashville, and it’s banking on expansion in the world of cars powered by natural gas.

From Nuclear Plant Parts To Bolts and Trucks, Looking For Bids On $30 Million Worth Of Stuff

The agency that produces electricity for all of Tennessee says it needs to get rid of everything from half-inch bolts, to two-ton trucks, and even spare parts from nuclear reactors. The Tennessee Valley Authority is selling more than 22,000 items it no longer uses.

The United Auto Workers is attempting to finally unionize its first foreign-owned plant in the South. And so far, Republican officials are the ones trying to stand in the way.

The department has several hundred federally funded workers who are among the many returning to work today after being furloughed for two weeks.
