Shutdown Deal Or Not, The Smokies Will Reopen Wednesday

The state of Tennessee has reached a short term agreement to reopen the Great Smoky Mountains National Park at a cost of $60,100 per day. Operations will resume Wednesday and continue at least through Sunday.

Korean Tire Maker’s First U.S. Plant Will Bring 1,800 Jobs To Clarksville

A Korean tire maker will open its first U.S. factory in Tennessee, hiring a thousand people over the next couple years and 800 more in a second phase.  Hankook Tire is now poised to be the largest private employer in Clarksville.
