Administration Completely Removes Diabetes Mall

TBC Will Take Steps to Regain Control of Belmont

Delegates from the Tennessee Baptist Convention rejected their executive board’s recommendation yesterday that would have officially accepted the TBC’s severed relationship with Belmont University. More than 17-hundred elected “messengers” from churches around the state gathered at Two Rivers Baptist Church to weigh-in on the issue.

Cover Tennessee Hits Bump

Portion’s of Governor Phil Bredesen’s health care initiative ran into several snags today in the Senate Finance Committee. In a two-and-a-half hour debate, disputes over the section establishing a comprehensive diabetes care center resulted in that part being removed.
