Murfreesboro Pharmacy Wants Recount On Sky-High Opioid Distribution Figures

Listen Tennessee’s largest recipient of opioids from 2006 to 2012 wants a recount. A federal database found a pharmacy in Murfreesboro owned by state Sen. Shane Reeves sold 46 million pills over six years. But the company now believes that figure is way off.

New Tennessee House Speaker Promises To Respect Differences

Crossville Republican Cameron Sexton has been elected speaker of the Tennessee House of Representatives at a special session this morning.  Sexton, who has been in the legislature for nine years, was elected unanimously. Ninety-four lawmakers voted in favor, with two voting present.
