We’ll be time traveling back to 1982 when, among other things: “Eye of the Tiger,” from the Rocky III soundtrack, hits no. 1 for six weeks; the first CD’s are released in Germany; U.S. Marines land in Beirut, Lebanon; Roger Ebert’s “Movie News” premieres on ABC; Pete Rose sets record for most at bats; Cleveland sets a record for lowest temperature ever recorded in August (38 degrees) and Jake Landers, Doyle Lawson, Denis LePage, Lost & Found and Claire Lynch put some real sparkle into bluegrass airwaves.
