They’re emblazoned into our national consciousness as places that represent unbridled freedom, a new start, never-ending adventure and awesome wonder. They cover more than a third of the earth and appear in many a fine bluegrass tune. With the able guidance of Front Range, the Pleasant Mountain Boys, Chubby Wise, and Molsky’s Mountain Drifters, we’ll continue traversing the many plains of BluegrassLand–from the plains of the buffalo and plains of Illinois to the flood plain of despair.
