One of Middle Tennessee’s largest private employers says an accident has killed a worker at one of its factories. The incident occurred Tuesday at Nissan’s powertrain plant in Decherd.
The company says the employee worked for a supplier.
A name has not been released. Emergency responders are confirming the details. Nissan says it makes safety a top priority and that the company will support the investigation.
In January, an employee who works for one of Nissan’s transportation companies was killed outside the Smyrna assembly plant.
