The Davidson County Grand Jury handed down more indictments against Perry March today, this time charging March and his father with first degree conspiracy to commit murder against his former wife’s parents.
District Attorney General Torry Johnson says the indictments are the result of a two-month long investigation, during which time Perry March has been in jail in Nashville.
“Specifically the indictment alleges that during the months of September and October 2005, Perry March solicited Russel Nathaniel Farris, aka Bobby Givens, to murder Carol and Lawrence Levine.”
Perry was re-arrested as a formality today on the charges, but has continued to be in jail after being arrested earlier this year on second degree murder charges, accused of killing his wife, Janet in 1996.
The District Attorney’s office wouldn’t comment on any details of the case and wouldn’t comment on how contact was made with Russell Farris.
Arthur March allegedly agreed to pick up Farris in Mexico after the murders had been completed, so the grand jury also charged him with the same three indictments. March is still living in Mexico, and if he doesn’t surrender himself, the district attorney’s office will have to start formal extradition proceedings.
