What kinds of buildings can go where, and what can happen in those buildings — that’s zoning in a nutshell. But it can get complicated, especially as our city continues to grow. This Is Nashville is doing an episode on July 19 all about zoning, and we want to hear from you!

Elizabeth Burton

Elizabeth Burton is a writer, director and producer originally from Augusta, Georgia. After earning her B.A. from Barnard College, she began producing for PBS NewsHour's Emmy-nominated series ‘Brief But Spectacular,’ where she worked on over 50 short-form interviews. More recently, she has brought her directorial and dog-training chops to work on independent documentary film projects, Nashville Repertory Theatre's ‘Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.' When not working, you can probably find her roaming East Nashville on skates and/or with Cal, her service dog in training.
