Elizabeth Burton

Elizabeth Burton

Elizabeth Burton is a director and producer originally from Augusta, Georgia. She is very at home in the South and is excited to dig into the stories that make Nashville, Nashville. After earning her B.A. from Barnard College, she began producing for PBS NewsHour's Emmy-nominated series ‘Brief But Spectacular,’ where she worked on over 50 short-form interviews. More recently, she has brought her directorial and dog-training chops to work on independent documentary film projects, Nashville Repertory Theatre's ‘Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time,’ and local non-profit Retrieving Independence. When not working, you can probably find her roaming East Nashville on skates and/or with a service dog in training.
