3 dead after small plane crashes in Williamson County

Williamson County Chief Deputy Mark Elrod told reporters that the plane had left Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was headed to Louisville, Kentucky, but crashed in Tennessee near Leiper’s Fork around noon on Wednesday.

Report: Pilot Was Slow To Respond Before Deadly Crash Into Percy Priest Lake

The pilot in the deadly Percy Priest Lake plane crash last month did not promptly respond to two separate air traffic control instructions before the plane went down, according to a preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board.
