‘We Have To Keep Going’: Nashville Activists Mourn The Deaths Of Civil Rights Leaders

Heartbreaking. Sad. Painful. Those are some of the words used by Nashville social justice activists to describe the deaths of Congressman John Lewis and Minister C.T. Vivian, two civil rights icons who passed way on Friday.

Nashville Civil Rights Movement Mentor C.T. Vivian Has Died

A fiery leader and mentor within the Civil Rights Movement in Nashville and across the nation has died. Rev. C.T. Vivian passed away Friday morning in Atlanta at age 95, according to the Associated Press.
