The state Supreme Court is considering a case that could pave the way for nearly 200 people to be released from prison for crimes they committed as juveniles. Tennessee has some of the harshest sentencing for minors who are convicted of murder in adult court.

Cyntoia Brown, Now Free From Prison, Says She Wants To Help Other Victims Of Abuse

Cyntoia Brown was released from the Tennessee Prison for Women early Wednesday morning, after serving 15 years of a life sentence for killing a man who solicited sex when she was a teenager. Brown says she hopes to dedicate her next chapter to mentoring  girls who have suffered abuse.
