For the third time since October, Gov. Bill Lee has lost a member of his cabinet. Lee’s office announced Monday that Courtney Rogers, the commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Veterans Services, has resigned. According to the statement, Rogers will return to the private sector.

The heads of the state Department of Commerce and Insurance and the state Department of Human Services have stepped down from Gov. Lee’s administration. Lee’s office confirmed Commerce and Insurance Commissioner Hodgen Mainda’s decision on Tuesday afternoon.
