After banning trans athletes in K-12 sports, Tennessee Republicans take aim at college

Bill Requiring Mortuary Services For Aborted Fetuses Passes Tennessee House

The Tennessee House has approved a measure that would require tissue from abortions to be cremated or buried. If the measure passes the state Senate, backers say Tennessee would be the 12th state to require mortuary services after an abortion.

Tennessee Is A Signature Away From Letting Most People Carry A Handgun With No Permit

Tennessee is on track to become the latest state to eliminate the requirement that gun owners get a permit to carry in public. The state House of Representatives approved the measure last night, and hours before the vote, Governor Bill Lee reiterated he intends to sign it.
