Report: Pilot Was Slow To Respond Before Deadly Crash Into Percy Priest Lake

The pilot in the deadly Percy Priest Lake plane crash last month did not promptly respond to two separate air traffic control instructions before the plane went down, according to a preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board.

Dredging Rescues Amphibious Car From Bottom Of Percy Priest Lake

As it turns out, it’s easier to sink an amphibious car than to dredge one up from the bottom of a lake. It took about four hours yesterday for a dive team to rescue the car-boat that sank into Percy Priest Lake in just 20 seconds on Saturday.
