Rutherford County Schools will require masks for everyone inside buildings in the coming year after a unanimous school board vote Tuesday. Yet whether in-person classes will even happen is still undetermined.

Rutherford County Schools Will Offer In-Person Classes Despite Surging Coronavirus Cases

The Rutherford County Board of Education voted unanimously Thursday night for a return to traditional classes beginning in August. The plan also allows parents to choose remote learning for their students, but they must commit to sticking with that option for the full semester.
