Middle Tennessee snow: How much fell, what it looked like and what’s next

Within an hour Thursday morning, Middle Tennessee streets went from almost dry to absolutely dangerous. Snow was falling at more than an inch an hour, reaching 7 inches in some places and resulting in hundreds of traffic accidents.

Snow arrives in Middle Tennessee, with hazardous road conditions expected Thursday and Friday

Nashville should expect two to three inches of snow starting early Thursday morning. Areas further south, like Columbia and Tullahoma, will likely get sleet that will make roads icy, and snow will follow closely behind.
