Tennessee Will Craft State Budget On Expectation Of Some Revenue Growth

Tennessee is betting on growth next year: not a lot, but not quite as modest as some projections. The State Funding Board predicts tax revenues will increase by about 1% in the next fiscal year, and between 2.5% and 3% the year after that.

Tennessee Expecting COVID Vaccine For Frontline Workers In Mid-December

Tennessee’s health chief said Tuesday that the state is expecting to receive its first doses of a COVID-19 vaccine around Dec. 15. In a press conference, Lisa Piercey said the new information comes after having conversations this week with the federal government.
