Widespread Testing Coming For Tennessee Nursing Homes

Hazard Pay Could Come For Select Metro Employees

Nearly 100 Coronavirus Cases At Trousdale County Private Prison Prompts Mass Testing

All inmates at the Trousdale Turner Correctional Center in Hartsville are getting tested for the coronavirus, after early rounds of testing uncovered 93 cases among the prison’s approximately 2,500 prisoners.

Nashville Coronavirus Cases Continue To Mount, Slowing Plans To Reopen

Nashville still isn’t ready to relaunch its economy, officials say. For the third straight day, Metro has reported 100 or more new cases of the coronavirus. Two more elderly residents also died yesterday, bringing the local death toll to 24.

Elective Surgeries Resume Across Tennessee On Friday

Tennessee hospitals and surgery centers will be able to resume elective procedures as soon as Friday, May 1. Gov. Bill Lee said this afternoon he will not extend the executive order that banned procedures like joint replacements and colonoscopies.
