Nashville is experimenting with a new funding model to support community groups working to prevent violence.
Seventeen-year-old Kamerynn Woodland recently got involved with one of those organizations, Nashville Peacemakers, because he was afraid he could be the next gunshot victim. Now, the teen says he’s focused on graduating high school and joining the Army.
