Julia Ritchey is WPLN's afternoon news editor. Before coming to Nashville, she worked on NPR's daily economics program The Indicator and the award winning climate podcast Drilled. She's also worked at public radio stations in Reno, Salt Lake and New York. She originally hails from Western North Carolina and enjoys baking and being outdoors with Bodhi, her beagle named after Patrick Swayze's character in Point Break.
