Q. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a veterinarian. I love dogs.
Q. What made you decide to work for Nashville Public Radio?
I wanted to work for Nashville Public Radio because I wanted my next role to not just be a job for me, but I wanted to feel as though I have a purpose and to be able to give back to the Nashville community. I love living in Nashville as I grew up in a very small town and the options were limited as far as fun things to do. There is always an event to attend or a new restaurant to try in Nashville, and I love it.
Q. What can listeners expect you to do at Nashville Public Radio in the next year?
To grow and advance with Nashville Public Radio.
Q. a) Do you consider yourself to be a foodie? b) Any favorite Nashville restaurants so far? c) Any places on your “must try” list?
I am definitely a foodie! I love trying new restaurants around Nashville especially breakfast/brunch spots. My favorite breakfast restaurant in Nashville is Sinema. It’s a breakfast buffet so you can eat as much as you want. The next restaurant that I would like to try is City Fire.
Q. What do you like to do for fun outside of the office?
I love standup comedy. I go to Zanies pretty often.
