A grand jury has issued 50 indictments involving five murdered inmates, assaults against staff and other violence at a Tennessee prison. The Lake County grand jury issued the indictments all related to the Northwest Correctional Complex, a state-run prison in Tiptonville. District Attorney Danny H. Goodman Jr. says those include murder charges related to inmates who were killed in five separate incidents in 2025 and 2026.
