Nashville native Patrick Dailey is an opera singer who has performed internationally to great acclaim. Now after several years of singing, teaching and collaborating here, Dailey is making his performance debut with the Nashville Symphony as a soloist in Handel’s Messiah.

Nashville Symphony Union Agrees To Pay Cuts After Pandemic Shutdown

Violist Melinda Whitley, who led the negotiations, says it feels like a step back, even though musicians are eager to return to what they love doing. The new contract has been ratified with a 7% reduction in pay for the first year. The 83 union members have until next week to sign their personal contracts.
