The Titans’ new venue will keep the Nissan Stadium name

The Tennessee Titans’ new venue will continue to be called Nissan Stadium. The team and the automaker entered a 20-year agreement that was announced Friday by Titans President and CEO Burke Nihill.

Workers at the Spring Hill GM plant join the UAW strike

Workers at the General Motors plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee, are on strike after more than six weeks of negotiations with GM. They started picketing late Saturday, joining thousands of auto workers across the country.

Former drivers for Nashville-based Yellow Freight are still having trouble finding work

A new TPAC is closer to reality, but Metro still must decide how it fits into Nashville’s East Bank development

A new Tennessee Performing Arts Center is one step closer to reality. The State Building Commission approved $200 million for the project. Metro officials and TPAC are in talks to see if it can be constructed in East Bank, the same area that will house the new Titans Stadium.

Tennessee secured $7B in clean energy business this past year — representing nearly 80% of new investments

After Three Brothers Coffee unionized last year, employees are striking again. This time, it’s over starting pay and staffing shortages.
