1. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Play sports (basketball) or be a pastor.
Follow-up question: What made you want decide to move away from those career paths?
I am not talented enough to play professional sports. I also wanted to be 6’7″ so I think that plays a lot into why I’m not playing. If I was that tall, I’d imagine my family would’ve invested into me learning the sport more. And I think maybe after I stopped going to Christian school and started going to public school I stopped wanting to be a pastor.
2. What can listeners expect to hear from you in the coming year?
Informative, unbiased news that informs them of what is going on in their state government.
3. a) Do you consider yourself to be a foodie? b) Any favorite Nashville restaurants so far? c) Any places on your “must try” list?
Yes, the breakfast at Nadeen’s Hermitage Haven is amazing. I actually have a very large must try list. A few are Bang Bang Hibachi, Taqueria Del Sol, and Five Daughters.

4. What do you like to do for fun outside the office?
Spend time with family, go on nature walks, and watch sports.
5. What’s your go-to karaoke song? (Not that we’d ever make you sing it.)
“We Belong Together” by Mariah Carey, and any Young Thug song.
