Metro Police Officer Shot Inside South Nashville Home After Responding To 911 Call

A Metro police officer was shot in South Nashville on Tuesday evening. The Metro Nashville Police Department says Officer Brian Sherman, who’s been on the force for two years, was treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for gunshot wounds to his upper left arm.
