A bridge over Mill Creek is littered with shopping bags and other plastic waste.

The city of Nashville is trying to determine the source of a downright mess in Mill Creek. Plastic bags, cutlery, cups and take-out containers are littering the greenway of Whitsett Park.

Tennessee Lawmakers Debate Allowing Medical Cannabis For Some People With Cancer, Quadriplegia

Tennessee legislators may be cracking the door open to legalizing medical cannabis for a limited number of individuals. Two bills are making progress in the state House of Representatives, including one that would permit the use of THC for quadriplegic veterans who were injured in the line of duty.

Nashville Aims To Vaccinate 10,000 People In Drive-Thru Event On March 20

Nashville is planning to inoculate 10,000 people in a single day — its largest ever COVID-19 vaccination event. The drive-thru mass vaccination will run from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday March 20. It will take place in Lots A-D of Nissan stadium.

Warmer Weekend Ahead, Though Some Roads May Not Thaw Until Sunday

Nashville will be launching an education campaign and expanding access to COVID-19 vaccines in communities of color. Vaccination rates among Black and Hispanic Nashvillians have trailed that of white Nashvillians.
