The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says agents are at the scene of a shooting on I-65 after Nashville police, Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers and an off-duty Mt. Juliet officer shot and killed a 37-year-old man while, they say, they were responding to reports of a person with a box cutter.

A federal judge has ordered that school mask mandates can stay — for now

‘I Just Feel Thankful’: Predators Goalie Pekka Rinne Retiring After 15 Seasons

The Nashville Predators’ star goalie is retiring from the NHL and the only franchise he’s ever known. Pekka Rinne announced his decision Tuesday, making the 2020-21 regular season closer the last game of his career.
