Nashville General Hospital Has Its First COVID-19 Fatality

A patient at Nashville General Hospital has died due to complications from the coronavirus. The city-funded hospital says the patient, who has not been identified, was admitted more than two weeks ago and died over the weekend.

Nashville Lab Company Rolling Out Rapid COVID Testing

Nashville-based Aegis Sciences has been approved to test for COVID-19. And starting on Wednesday, the company says its labs in MetroCenter will be able to turn around 3,500 tests a day, with results available within 24 hours.
